Get cited. Then get absorbed. Then get business.
SEOCells AEO Growth measures how AI answers find, choose and use your page. It asks AI answers and AI overviews your customers' questions several times each, tests your page against the pages they cite, checks whether AI already knows your brand, and scores five areas — each with a confidence range — with a prioritised fix plan.
The full AI citation pipeline — from being found, to being quoted, to bringing business — measured stage by stage, with a confidence range on every score.

What does AEO Growth measure?
Five separate scores. There is deliberately no single overall number, because each stage of an AI answer is won or lost on its own.
Can AI engines reach, read and quote the page?
SEOCells checks access for 8 AI crawlers, including GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and Google-Extended, plus quoting permissions, server-rendered content, a clean address, structure and the files AI agents read.
Is the page chosen as a source?
Does it answer the question asked and stay on topic? Is the organisation described, are named experts visible, and is the brand corroborated elsewhere?
Once chosen, is it actually used?
Definitions, figures, comparisons and steps; self-contained sections; a quotable opening answer; current dates and primary sources.
Does it beat the pages AI cites?
Up to 5 competing pages from Google AI Mode answers are tested in 4 to 6 controlled trials per pair, with names hidden and order swapped, plus completeness, trust cues, freshness and follow-up coverage.
Does being cited bring business?
How often answers name your brand, how many answers leave no reason to click, and whether the page gives readers a reason to visit.
Why measure the pipeline, not just citations?
A page can be found but never chosen, or chosen but never used. Each stage is measured separately, so you see exactly where you drop out.

Confidence ranges on every score
AI answers change from one run to the next. In a standard scan each question is asked of Google AI Mode 5 times (10 in a full scan), so every rate comes with a 95% confidence range and a stability figure instead of a single, misleading number.
Chosen vs. used — two outcomes
Being selected as a source and contributing to the answer are scored separately, because they are won with different work.
Head-to-head against your real peers
Your page is tested against the pages Google AI Mode actually cites for up to 10 of your questions, with names hidden and order swapped, and you see your share of all citations.
Brand memory gap analysis
SEOCells asks an AI model about your brand without searching, then asks Google AI Mode the same question 2 times with search. If only the second finds you, you are visible only when AI searches the web — the report shows how to close that gap over time.
Integrity check and manipulation defence
The Integrity check runs 5 tests — hidden instructions, cloaked text, fake urgency, duplicated praise and markup that contradicts the page — and flags them first, before any optimisation.
Commercial impact beyond citations
Brand mentions, answers that leave no reason to click, and visits from ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini are scored on their own in 1 of the 5 scores — the honest measure of value.
What does a report look like?
A sample report for a fictitious clinic. Every scan delivers the same views in the app and as one branded PDF.
What we will not claim
- No optimisation has a proven, lasting effect on every AI engine. Expected lifts are estimates until they are measured on similar pages.
- Being cited is not the same as winning business, so commercial impact is scored separately.
- Brand memory moves slowly; it is long-term work, not a quick fix.
- Nothing is ever published to your site automatically.

Questions
What is answer engine optimisation (AEO)?
AEO is the work of making a page easy for AI assistants and AI search to find, trust and quote. SEOCells AEO Growth measures that across five areas and gives a prioritised plan.
Which AI answers does AEO Growth sample?
Standard and competitive scans sample AI answers from Google AI Mode; full scans add Google AI overviews. Brand memory is checked by asking an AI model about your brand without searching.
Why does every score have a range?
AI answers vary between runs. We ask each question several times and report the rate with a 95% confidence range and a stability figure, so you can tell a real change from noise.
Is there one overall AEO score?
Not in AEO Growth. The five areas are reported side by side because each stage of an AI answer is won or lost separately. The free AEO score gives a quick single-page reading.
How long does a scan take and what does it cost?
A quick scan takes seconds; a standard scan a few minutes. Each scan is priced in credits before it starts — see the scan prices page.
Do you change my website?
No. SEOCells never publishes anything to your site. You, or an SEOCells consultant, make the changes; then a re-score measures the effect.
